Located close to some real Portugal gems, it is easy to plan day trips from Lisbon. Sintra is a must-see if you're in Lisbon for more than two or three days, and Cascais is a beach paradise for summer visitors.

I really enjoyed my time in Portugal's capital city, and I'd love to go back.
